Obituary: Dottie Kelso, an assistant women's basketball
coach at Alabama State University for four years, died Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She
was 31. Ms. Kelso died at 10 a.m. at Druid City Hospital Regional
Medical Center with her family at her side. The cause was listed as sudden unexpected
death.

July 15 at home. Services were July 19 in Olinger Mortuary, Chapel Hill. Burial was in
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Kelso was born in Fort Morgan.
He was a long-haul truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Grace; one son, Douglas of
Lakewood; one daughter, Kayalyn White of Greeley; and 10 grandchildren.
